Your guides for this Shamanic retreat

Adda Quintana :
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Adda Beatriz had from an early age an immense interest in art, music, singing and nature, and felt an urge to care for people.
She was subsequently taught by Rafael Gallardo and Lucerlia Saavedra, the founders of Caracas' Escuela de Psicobiofisica (or School of Psychobiophysics), an dedicated to the study of the energy of the mind, body and soul, and attended Caracas' Santini School of Holistic Sexuality.
She is trained in Biodance and holds a Master's degree in Tibetan and shamanic Reiki. In 2022 she obtained the certificate as a Life Coach granted by the Develand International Academy in Spain.
Adda Beatriz's first encounter with the master plants occurred 12 years ago, and she has travelled to the Amazon on numerous occasions and learned about the medicines directly from different native communities, including the Camentsa, Inga, Cofan, Yanacona and Siona peoples from Colombia and the Yawanawa, Shawadawa and Huni Kuin peoples from Brazil.
In 2013 she moved to Malta and was the first person to bring native people from the Amazon to the country to introduce these sacred medicines directly to Maltese communities. In more recent years she has travelled to and helped to oversee retreats throughout Europe.
In 2019 she was approved by both Taitas and Caciques – shamans from Colombia and Brazil respectively – to officially administer the medicines in her own retreats.
Working with Amazonian communities and introducing the wonders of the sacred medicines to those in need are roles Adda Beatriz finds incredibly rewarding, and she is experienced in helping people gain healing for issues ranging from depression to addiction. She regularly works with individuals who feel they have lost their way and are keen to reestablish a sense of purpose and find joy and meaning in their lives.
At a time when Mother Earth is under threat, she is fully aware of the responsibility and honour that comes with sharing the power and healing properties of these sacred medicines with others.
Currently she is living in Portugal where she is continuing her wonderful work with Sacred Plants and as a Spiritual and Life Coach.

Lara Vella
Lara has been holding space for yoga & meditation for the past 6 years in a vinyasa flow style initially trained by Lyonne Sundari. She has worked with many kinds of holistic practices and currently specializes in Holistic Facials which involve massage, breath work, meditation, reiki & sound therapy.
Working with Master Plants for the past 5 years, helping to organize retreats & holding space for yoga during these deeply transformative retreats, she has found a way to weave all the beautiful teachings from these two ancient lineages into what she offers to a space.
Lara has recently deepened her studies in Alchemy Yoga at Alchemy Yoga & Meditation Center in Ubud, Bali.
This particular style of yoga has a very new age approach to sharing the radically life affirming practices of traditional Shaiva Tantra in a way that invites the practitioner to explore each pose within their own range of movement.
Where anyone can drop into a state of stillness, awareness & presence which can then be integrated into everyday life. Alchemy Yoga is based around the five elements which together represent the material world, aspects of our being & containers that hold specific approaches to different practices within Alchemy Yoga.
Through her classes Lara wishes to provide a space where one can discover their innate ability to bring healing, balance and harmony into their own life.
